For temperature measurement of dry ice shipments, we supply the iMiniPlus dry ice logger with a fixed Teflon cable with a stainless steel tip. The external sensor is immersed in the dry ice, next to the product, for the best temperature measurement. The data logger must not come into direct contact with the dry ice. The battery cannot sustain this low temperature for long, so the meter stops measuring. We recommend protecting the logger by placing a thermal blanket over the dry ice or keeping the meter as far away from the dry ice as possible. The Teflon cable with steel tip is resistant to dry ice temperatures.
